Our Flat Duct is an extremely flexible heating and air-conditioning duct. It is constructed without wire reinforcement, allowing it to be flattened and rolled up when not in use. The construction consists of two-ply, flexible, heavy duty, highly abrasion-resistant, vinyl coated fabric with moisture-proof insulation between plies. A sewn-on abrasion-resistant scuff strip is also included. Cuff zippers and Velcro strips permit attachment of additional sections to form longer duct assemblies. These ducts are available with inside diameters of 8 inches, 10 inches, 12 inches and 14 inches, and are tol-erant to temperature variations of –40°F to +275°F. The insulation has a minimum R-value of 8.0 or greater to provide superior temperature control.

The compact insulated Flat Duct to the right is con-structed with the same premium materials and flexibility as the above insulated Flat Duct, but with-out the abrasion-resistant scuff strip. This hose is lighter and more compact. Application with longer hose runs may find this style of insulated Flat Duct more manageable for ramp personnel as well as to accept larger areas for patching.

We make an assortment of insulated and non-insulated Wire-Wound Reinforced Ducts using the same superior material detailed above. Standard diameters from 5 inches to 36 inches, with lengths from 18 inches to 50 feet. Ends of ducts can be finished with plain cuffs, zippers, Velcro or a combina-tion thereof.
45 and 90 degree Elbows insert into the duct system allowing unimpeded air flow for service to all types of aircraft. Elbows are very useful for circumventing obstructions on the ramp. You’ll find the same sturdy construction as in our Flat Ducts.

Our Tapered Adapters insert into the duct system allowing final connection to the aircraft connector for unimpeded air flow to all types of aircraft. They are also made with the same superior materials and construction as our Flat Ducts and Elbows.
